We begin with a site visit to understand your space, your personal needs and overall growing goals. This includes assessing sunlight, soil and layout, as well as discussing what you’d like to grow and how you want to use the space going forward.
Using the information from your consultation, we create a tailored design that includes all the main foundations and supporting features. We’ll refine the plan with you to make sure you're happy with everything.
Once the design is agreed, we move to installation. We construct the garden, prepare the soil and plant your first seasonal crops. You’ll also receive expert advice for aftercare and optional garden maintenance support.

Thanks guysPosted on Google Mike Simpkins We recently had the pleasure of working with Wilde Space, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Ben, Amy and Ash were an absolute delight from start to finish—friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us tackle the challenges in our garden. They removed a tree and several unwanted bushes, ground down the stumps, and prepared our garden beds so they’re ready for planting in the new year. Every step was handled with care, skill and real attention to detail. It was clear they take great pride in their work and truly care about the spaces they transform. I would recommend Wilde Space without the slightest hesitation to anyone who values their garden and wants expert, thoughtful work carried out. Get in touch to begin designing a productive and sustainable kitchen in your garden, tailored to your space and how you want to live.
Planning your garden kitchen starts with understanding your space, light conditions and what you want to grow. Begin by choosing a location that gets at least six hours of sunlight a day. Measure your garden area and think about what access to water it has and how much time you can commit to ongoing maintenance. From there, sketch a basic layout for planting zones, raised beds and pathways. For long term success, working with a professional garden designer can help create a tailored plan that supports healthy, sustainable growing.
A basic garden kitchen is a small, manageable space where you can grow herbs, vegetables or fruit. These gardens are usually located near the home for convenience and designed for easy access and simple maintenance. Even a small area can produce a reliable supply of fresh food when well planned.
First you should measure the length and width of the available space in metres, then multiply those two figures. For irregular shapes, divide the space into rectangles or squares, calculate each area separately and add them together. Understanding the size helps determine how many planting beds you need and what layout will work best.
Begin small, with a few easy crops that match your climate and sunlight levels. Choose a layout that makes the most of your outdoor space, and focus on building healthy soil. Whether you’re growing herbs, vegetables or fruit, starting with a clear plan will help you stay on top of care and maintenance.
Look for a sunny, sheltered spot that’s close to your home and has easy access to water. The area should get at least six hours of sunlight a day and have good drainage. Avoid shaded, exposed or waterlogged corners of the garden. A well-chosen location makes growing easier and helps your plants thrive across all seasons.
A wildflower garden design can completely transform your outdoor space, creating a natural and low-maintenance garden that supports biodiversity.
A well-designed outdoor living space lets you enjoy your garden all year round. Crafted with care and creativity, we bring beautiful bespoke garden designs to life across Cornwall.
Ornamental gardens do more than just look good. They offer seasonal colour, and add long term value to your outdoor space.
